    When in POS (Version 6, Build 60), we cannot clear a sale.  The software throws up an error "ie_BadId - Specified comport doesn’t exist"  I've tried to locate a com port assignment in the software, as this is occurring on a system that has no com ports attached, but have come up with nothing. 

     Any ideas?

    POS has to have some sort of COM port installed. It may be real hardware, an actual serial port. In which case, go to POS setup and set the Pole Display com port to the one of the installed ports. If you have a newer system with no acutal serial ports, you will need to install a USB to serial converter, and then set up a virtual port with the device's driver. Then setup, and set the pole display com port to the installed device.
